The album cover for Mariah Carrey’s hotly anticipated sequel to her first Christmas album, which is cleverly titled Merry Christmas II You…., has been released. I feel as though the body Mariah’s head has been photoshopped onto is either Reed Richards from Fantastic Four or body molded piece of elastic. What, the heck? I know Carey is pretty ridiculous but this cover goes past that point.
Issues with the cover aside though, after her last album failed to follow in the success of the two before it, this will be a big success. Her original Christmas album has sold 12 million copies making it one of the best selling Christmas albums of all time, but the song All I Want For Christmas is one of the most noteable original Christmas songs.
